sunday afternoon-aftershower

never knew that shower could be soooo~ good...
well what did i do?

today in this hot hot hot day my father and I went shopping
not far..maybe about 500meters from our house.. ha ha
the sky was rather cloudy
the weather was humid
no wind no wind breeze at all..

So there we were on the asphalt.
I was wearing white surfer t-shirt, surfer shorts and of course my beloved crocs.
My father in the other hand was wearing white shirt and short cargo pants and no sandals (barefeet).(yewp..pretty odd combination I know...)  and o yeah, he was carrying a denim backpack (my school backpack actually.. and yes..we do have reason for this)


Suddenly he was still for a while.. and he turned to me
"hmm the asphalt is pretty hot" (hahahahahaha funny, dad...)
then he went back inside, got his running shoes on
and we were set to go

no one was on the street
i repeat
no sane human was on the street
it was a very very hot day..

we were walking side by side
........
when we reached the main road, my father said "let's do lintas alam"
... no fellas my house is not in the mountain....
what my father meant with lintas alam was to walk the unoccupied land which was thick with grass and bushes..

i hesitated for a while
...

i decided to catch up with my father
at first i was cautious ...
i tiptoed
did some rabbit hop
and then i RAN..
the gap was  closing in...
and then...
*sruuuk* the ground beneath my feet sunk
*shiiiiiiit*
i was shocked (cupu)
i quickly grabbed my father's arm...
and we're back to the (save) asphalt.
