The Rain and the Truth

I was standing in the rain

My bare feet on the gravels

Staring into the empty street

The quite houses

The luminous street light

My vision was blurred by the rain

I took off my glasses

Everything become clearer

Blurred only by my incapability

Water surging down the street

Like a river

The end unseen

I was standing in the rain

Alone

The rain pelting down my skin

Running down my cheek

As if I’m crying

In that moment

It was easy to believe that

We’re free

I’m free

It was easy to believe that

Nothing else matters but now

It was easy to believe that

We’re divine
